Raichelle Viado Rocks at 2014 Spocom Super Show Anaheim @helloraichelle

Anaheim, CA, by W&HM - We haven't seen Raichelle Viado for a long time.  She is one of the coolest and warmest models that we've covered in many years.  She has a fountain of fun and a spring of creativity, and an ocean of friendliness!  No matter where you met her, she is always so cheerful and so inviting.

At the 2014 Spocom Super Show Anaheim Model Lounge, Raichelle held up a gigantic instagram frame with a super cool quote of "do NOT be afraid to be judged!  be crazy... be silly... by you! <3"  That's so awesome in so many layers.

We sure hope to see her more in the future car shows.  The car show scene is definitely different without her much presence!

San Diego, CA, by W&HM - Model lounge is always a huge draw for car show attendees and media folks.  A themed model lounge is attracting even more excitements on both sides of the table, and conjures a deeper comradery between a model and her model fan by a shared connection in their common interests.

2014 Extreme Autofest San Diego model lounge theme is sports theme based, and encouraged with "outside the box thinking". Here we have Amanda Kerr, Charmaine Glock and April Garcia, as well as Gina Sky, Lilianne, and Julie Vu.

San Diego, CA, by W&HM  - 2014 Extreme Autofest San Diego was an easy-going and a very comfortable event for all ages and family sizes.  At the JDM Sport booth, we have Asia and Jasmyn Skye holding the tent, in figure of speech.

GXS Racing Marketing had Elizabeth Izumo and Jaia Washington being the front and center models.  Their bright orange uniform fit perfectly with their cute yellow ride.

Sandra Wong, The Super Awesome Cover Model at 2014 Extreme Autofest San Diego @thesandrawong

 San Diego, CA, by W&HM - Sandra Wong, our cover model, is always so genuine and sweet and awesome.  We especially appreciate her uber soft femininity yet still be firmly grounded on reality.  Sandra has that natural gift of relating to people, engaging people, and forging friendship with people.  Her soft spoken manner does not mean she is soft on self-esteem.  On the contrary, her musical words pack with care, compassion, wisdom, confidence, and most importantly sincerity.  We are so happy to have Sandra as our great cover model, our great friend, and our great adviser!  We can only see a super bright future whatever she choose to achieve!

2014 #ExtremeAufofest San Diego Great Models @leaannep @mismorningstar @officialsandrawong

San Diego, CA, by W&HM - As you may know by now, Extreme Autofest has a great tradition of great costume themes for their models at the model lounge.  This year's San Diego Extreme Autofest, they had a sports theme and the organizer encouraged the models to think outside the box about.  Our cover model, Lea Anne, did just that.  Not only she thought about the sports team Miami Dolphins, she went a step further and did a Ace Ventura in Pet Detective themed costume.  No wonder she took home the first place among other competitors.  We are so happy to see such a bold, beautiful, awesome model friend of ours to have such creativity and excellent execution!

Lea Anne is going to be at the Redline Time Attack Willow Springs this weekend, as an awesome race driver.  If you are in the neighborhood, definitely check out the very cool event of high speed and higher speed!

San Diego, CA, by W&HM - At the 2014 Extreme Autofest San Diego car show, the model lounge is a key theme for the event.  As the show's tradition, everybody dressed up according to a theme that the organizer constructed.  This year, it's the very cool sports theme,  and the wonderful models added their own flavors to the theme to make them definitely a lot more sexier and fun!

We have Lyna Ly Sparks in her summer cool motorsports theme, and then Allyson Joy showed her support for the Clippers and then Lilly Evans continued the World Cup heat and ratcheted up several notches!

Huge Highlight Coverage of 2014 Extreme Autofest EAF San Diego - 60+ Photos of Models and Cars

 San Diego, CA, by Py Pai - The 2014 Extreme Autofest San Diego is another great success!  There were lines and lines of awesome cars from all different eras. Then there was non-stop incoming of models that heightened the show's excitement level.  The vendors brought in their cool stuffs and freebies for the attendees.  The attending crow has a wonderful time.  One five-years old kid said, "I can't take it any more."  We said we concur with him.  There were so many things to see and to check out and to catch up.  This is definitely a highly enjoyable show that ensured a great Saturday afternoon family outing.

To lead off the coverage is our cover model Sandra Wong.  She took the top spot here with many great reasons.  Not only she is beautiful, she is friendly, she is personable, she is talented, she is smart, she is simply awesome, to add to all of these, Sandra has a really great fan base and great connection with people who have worked with her.  At the show, we were very happy to see our magazine on display by Daniel Fisher, the very cool owner of G35, together with Sandra on the cover of our print issue 14.  This is so awesome!  We totally love Sandra and Daniel for showing their loves!

Extreme Autofest's model lounge is one of the key highlights and differentiator from the other car shows that we cover. The genius team at the EAF has defined a theme for each EAF show's model lounge appearances.  This year, it's a sports theme, and many models showed up with their cool jerseys and uniforms. This gives models a sense of wardrobe direction, but lots of room to be creative.  It's always a great scene to see!

Here Elizabeth Tran joined the Celtic team in a very special way.  She's definitely a winning charm!  And Lea Anne has that lingerie football spirit in her!  She is super cute!

 Lyna Ly Sparks is simply stunning in her Motorsports motif bikini top!  And it's Amanda Kerr is back!!  After a bit more than half year out of state, she is back stronger and awesomer!!  It's great to see her again and look forward to seeing her even more in the future!

  The cars in Extreme Autofest have many great personalities and characteristics.  That's one thing that we love about Extreme Autofest.  There are so many speck free finish vintage cars that simply inspires fine work and spirit of perfection.  We are sure that the time, money, efforts put behind all these beautiful work are tremendous.  However, the opportunity to show it off and even garnish it with a trophy or two would be priceless!

2014 Extreme Autofest San Diego, offered a great venue for all walks of life, including car fans, model fans, media fans, motorsports fans, and all the participants, a truly great lifestyle fun for everybody!  We definitely look forward to the next show next year!

Gorgeous Constance Nunes from Prestige Marketing and It's JDM Yo at 2014 Spocom Anaheim

Anaheim, CA, by W&HM - Prestige Marketing and It's jdm yo! have made some paradigm shifts in the import modeling scene.  They introduced the very talented editorial model, Constance Nunes, into the car glam world that created a new face of the import model image.

Constance Nunes, immediately, you can tell, is NOT a conventional import model.  Even though she is not 6' tall like a fashion supermodel, her slender physique and articulated curves totally make her an amazing high end fashion model or a Victoria's Secret's top angel.  At a closer inspection of how she moves, poses, and projects,  you would know that she is a liver person beautiful and romantic sculpture.  Then when you see her works on line, then you are in for a real treat for the stunning work and tremendous talents that she created with various talented photographers.  It's like reading a French fashion magazine and a totally visually rewarding trip.  That's what we call true talents!

From our perspective, we absolutely welcome this trend of mixing fashion modeling and import modeling.  One can use some real world interactions and make high aesthetics more personable.  The other can use some artistry to infuse to their direct appeals.  This is awesome and we highly applaud the team Prestige Marketing and It's jdm Yo!'s efforts and foresight!

This is a car show that is well done, meticulously refined, and totally leading the rest of the pack in the car show industry.  We are already looking forward to the next year's Spocom Anaheim already!  Great job guys!!

The Beginning of a Great Show

During this frenzy World Cup final weekend, the weather in southern California was hot and heavy just like in Brazil.  Thanks to the great tradition of the event, we stayed inside the Anaheim Convention Center and enjoyed the much appreciated air-con filled convention hall.  We were not sure if it is the air outside, or the hotness of the girls inside, or just the general enthusiasms among car owners, vendors, models, and floods of people, the inside air was full of excitement and energy that you could feel it.

This year, the size and density yielded in this show is in perfect harmony.  There were many cars, many models, many vendors, many photographers, and many attendees to have a comfortable flow of traffic and interests.  It's not super crowded that you have to elbow your way in or out or just stay put.  It's a Saturday afternoon activity that is well seasoned and well enjoyed.  This ensured a great-time-flying-by-fast experience for the rest of 7 hours of fun and work.

Mix, Mingle and Model Lounge

One of the key attractions of the Spocom Super Show is their signature model presence, from the packed model lounge to vendor sponsored talents, to up and roaming models at the show.  This great tradition has been established for a long time, thanks to the great work done by the Spocom Show team's awesome work.  It also  has been copied and imitated by other shows as well.  However, this is truly the one and only experience that you can get with car models under one roof here in the US.

It's also a great time for models to rekindle their friendships with other models.  There were so many bonding and catching up to do among themselves that it may call for an event all by itself just for this purpose.

At the model lounge, you would see great talents like Alicia Whitten, as well as our awesome cover models Sandra Wong, Elizabeth Tran, Diamond Zaang, Lyna Ly, plus many new models that were eager for you to take pictures of themselves.  As we were talking to an attendee to the show, we said that this is the one opportunity that beautiful models, done in their professional make up and hair, in their best showy outfits, want you to take as many pictures of them as possible.  Where else could you find such a wonderful occasion for model photography we must ask... It's simply heavenly!

Brand New, Cool, And Vintage Rides

The showcase of all types of tuner, jdm, modified cars is the main ingredient of the Spocom show.  This year, we witnessed, as well as chatting with the industry fellows, there were quite a few cars that we haven't seen before.  The caliber of the upgrades and mods, as well as the new concepts for paint arts were just at the superb level.  For car enthusiasts or fanatics, this is the place to quench their thirst for new stuffs, new happenings, and new trends.

We were super happy that some of our cover feature cars won the top honors in the Spocom show.  Both Roy Shakosuka's '72 Nissan Skyline (Issue 19) and Mike Lim's wide body Camero (coming out soon) now have their own top honor Spocom spiky trophies to bring home for their collections.

Top Line Bikini Contest for Miss 2014 Spocom Anaheim

The Spocom bikini contest is different than other car shows' bikini contests.  The contestants were all awesome models in their amazing physique.  They have great personality and wonderful stage persona. If you look at them in person, you would wonder if this is a Hawaiian Tropics model search.  It's high quality pageant, no raunchy acts, just pure top level showcase of female beauty and professional promotional personality.  We wish all model search would be like this level of quality.  Our hats off to the Spocom team and all the participating models!

We were especially ecstatic to learn at the moment that Krstina Hong, our feature model, was announced the top title to wear the Miss 2014 Spocom Anaheim Bikini Contest tiara!  That's is super awesome!  Krstina has such a great affinity to people and to cameras!  Big Congrats!!  Our feature model Elizabeth Velasquez also won the 3rd place of the contest!!  Her lush hair and beautiful features and totally melt-your-heart smiles would easily win everybody's heart!

Winners,  Winners, and Everybody's a Winner

During the show, in a parallel universe to the models and vendors and cars, there were dance competitions and concert performances.  It's very awesome for the Spocom team to have this outlet of creativity for the youth generation to express their team spirit and unbox their talents in a very positive way.  We highly commend such a wonderful job that they have done, congrats to the winners of the competition, and on our book, everybody's a winner for participating such cool activities!

On the car side, the final trophy award ceremony generated a lot of happy buzzes.  This is a highly sought after recognition and many went home with a big chunk of pride and affirmation of their dedications of time, efforts, and money and of course their bragging rights!

An Extremely Happy Ending

At the end of the night, our voices were hoarse, our eardrums were humming, our legs were sore, but our spirits are high, super high!  We were happy to attend such a great show.  We were happy to see Krstina Hong to win the Miss Spocom Anahim.  We were happy to know that Roy's and Mike's cars won top honors. We were happy to see many great models and great friends. We were happy to meet new people and forge new alliances.  This is such a great show, we can call it an epic Spocom Happy Ending!
