2013 #FormulaDrift New Jersey Highlights by Contributor Eduardo Suarez @WhataDayEd

Wall, NJ (Photos by contributor Eduardo Suarez, Text by W&HM) - We are very happy to have a guest contributor, Eduardo Suarez, from the other coast to cover the 2013 Formula Drift Round 4 The Gauntlet, at Wall, New Jersey.  He has captured the local beauties as well as the touring models at the exciting event.

But quickly, here is the results of the Round 4 competition, in case you are interested.  Last year's champion, Daigo Saito with his Achilles / Bridges Racing Lexus SC430, has claimed the title again this time.  He seems to be unstoppable at the track as well as the championship.  The second place is Justin Pawlak and the third is Chris Forsberg, both from the USA.  Even though the weather was sunny perfect (hot), and this is the 9th year in NJ of the 10 years history of Formula Drift, the new course at Wall Stadium seems to be a surprise and a challenge to many drivers.  Some top drivers were taken out even at the early stage of the competition.  This makes the whole competition even more nail biting!

Now back to the normal program.  Falken is a super reliable vendor for the Formula Drift events.  We have Randyl Dawn (above), Katie Carnes (below left), Juliana Daniell (below right) manning the big Falken Tires space.  Great to see them again!

The Hankook Tires team, with the new model Katelynn Ansari (left most), and Jessica Harbour, Erica Nagashima, and Sadie May (right most) looking good and signing their posters.

The Monster Energy drink models had the benefits of big umbrellas helping them reduce the direct sunlight and provide a cool backdrop for the photo ops.  Tori Abell of Montegi Racing (above right) gave our contributor a picture perfect sweet smile.

The Nitto girls were super friendly. Christine Rose (above right) and Krisana Yamapevan (below right) gave us plenty of photo memories.  Great job!

Exedy's Denise Christine was busy giving out lots of Exedy headscarf to the attendees, but still had time for camera snaps.

Then here are the 3MG Girls, with Emkay Vee (above right) showing us some cool looks and many enticing photos and posters at the booth.  Awesome!

Even though there were not as many models as in the Long Beach Round 1 event, still it was a good time nonetheless.  We do look forward to future Formula Drift events!

Again, thanks to our contributor, Eduardo Suarez.  You can find his photography at his web site [ext link].
