Great Show and Great Vibe

Extreme Autofest San Diego has another awesomely successful year! Despite the super heat across the south land, San Diego has stayed cool, after the relentless desert sun above in the afternoon, and then turned cool overcast at evening and finlized into a breezy night.

Upon entering Qualcomm Stadium, it's already music blaring and energy spiking in the air. Once walked into the show area, you can totally feel the vibes all across the car owners, vendors and models.

It seems that this year the vendor space is more sprawling and more exciting. The cars that they have for display are getting more exotic and strong. And the models that they brought to the show seemed to be nonstop. Every once in a while, you would see new models and new faces showing up at the booths and our fellow media folks and model enthusiasts as well as show attendees had great new opportunities!

Import and Car Show Models

The models at the EAF/SD this year seemed to be more leggy and more awesome and more expressive. All are good indicators of a great show! There were several well known high caliber models as well new entry to the car show import scene. People were so busy that they may not know who to chase after...

Lowrider rules at the show

One of the model photography fan chatted with us that said that this is a great place and great show to be in. He said that usually this could cost people hundreds of dollars just to get photo shooting with these models. And here just a price of a ticket, and you get to shoot them and they happily pose for you. What else could you want? He has been totally satisfied, we can say for certain.

Cars and More Cars

The cars at Extreme Autofest were totally cool and diverse. You could see lines of vintage restored and highly maintained, to the exotically modified and artistically expressed in the modern day rides. Low riders are a major scene at the show, as well as the import modified. It seems that the cars are as hot or sometimes even hotter than the models in some cases. That's super cool!!

Hey Baby of California Bikini Contest

The legnedary bikini contest by Hey Baby of California has drawn some of the great talents to the competition, especially with high monetary rewards and complementary bikinis. We have Sam Ferraez, last year's winner entering the top three again this year. Our lovely Lilly Evans has become the 1st runner up of the contest. And the winner is like Candice Swenapol in the import world, who is also from South Africa. This is such a wild and loud competition and nothing but fun!

Over all, it is such a pleasure to cover the show. Despite the 3 hours drive to and 2 hours back, it's a trip and event way worth it! We look forward to the next year's repeating success!
