Girls of 2013 #E3 Mega Summary #awesome #boothbabes and Cars Too, 43 Gorgeous Pictures

Update 2013.0616 - We have a contributor who captured Microsoft's Forza, and it looks very nice.  The five photos were added at the bottom of the summary. Thanks MD!

Los Angeles, CA (Py) - This is the mega and top highlight of 2013 E3 promotional models, (commonly referred to as Booth Babes, which is not as much used anymore.)

The general consensus on the street is that this year's E3 show has a severely reduced presence of promo models.  We found some truth about it, but as you can see in our coverage here, it's still a very thriving scene and the talents are abundant across the big convention floors and outside too.

However, we do see some troubling trends emerging.  When compared with past E3 shows, themed costumes were much less than previous years, replaced by more corporate branding generics, like logo T-shirts or tank tops.  Also, the once highly effective crowd gathering stage performances or audience participation were not much in view. This left people just spending time waiting in lines to get a glimpse of the new games or fingers-on with something they haven't bought yet.

There seems to be a ground shift from the traditional essences of entertainment and game cultural connections, into more about business, marketing and direct messaging.

However, we are still very excited to see that there were also many great models/talents doing excellently jobs in conveying the companies' products and brands.  Some of them that we encountered, did such a wonderful job, effectively combining multiple roles such as outbound marketing, sales lead-gen, point-of-interest promotion, and media/PR liaison, into one.  This could only be achieved by these brilliant company ambassadors, and our hats off to them!!

Overall, E3 this year is definitely a great show.  It is the "Superman" in the landscape of gaming and entertainment events.  At the same time, we also hope that the future participating companies will incorporate more exciting and innovative promotional activities and bring back some of the great glories of the earlier years.

- Now let's meet these wonderful promotional models! -

Beckie Joon (above left) and Brittani Paige (above right) at the Hyperkin booth gave us surprising weightless poses.  This is really true genius!  Great job girls!

Phoenix with Leanne for Nvidia, as well as Nicole Marie (below below left) for Pac is Back!  This is awesome!!  We were really happy to see them at the E3 show!  Each one of them is so talented and so great to work with!  Totally made our day!  Thank you!!

Jeri Lee (above right) and Arley Elizabeth (below with the car) were withstanding the non-stop So-Cal sun beams, but still maintained great smiles and high spirits.  Very cool!  BTW, if you see Arley next time, ask her about her review about the games that she saw at the E3 show.  You will get an expert commentary that you will be super impressed!

Nicole Marie

The SnailUSA booth is one of the booth that has really strong themed promotional model presence there.  They all have their personas and played out really well!

Beckie Joon (above right, left) and Brittani Paige (below) were such high-spirited models that the Hyperkin booth that we saw non-stop interaction and engagements with the crowd, and TV hosts.  That's what we call great promotional models!

Arika Sato (above middle) together with other cute models (below) at the Pac is Back booth, working with the other kind of promotional models or mascots.  Looking super sweet!  (and great job Jeri Lee for looking to our camera... ;->)

Dynasty Warriors 8 (above middle) and Bethesda booth models look very cool!  Well at the Turtle Beach Natalie Nadine (below right) is a totally awesome model!  Just looking at the photos of her in our camera, we know that she is a very impressive talent already!

At the Hansel and Gretel booth, we met up the two gorgeous models, even though we still could not figure out why the kid's story became so grown up, but we don't complain here at all!  Atlus models are soooo wholesome and photogenic!

We have to include this photo (above), because it's just one of the coolest consoles, if not _the coolest at the E3 show.  Wow!!
As we cruise down the paths of convention center, we saw another type of model, a mannequin type at the Castlevania booth.  The WiHDRocks booth has lots of energetic models (below middle) doing a great job of explaining and promoting the new technology, which you can replace your HDMI cable with this technology, without wires!!  Cool!
The Nyko Diner always has eye-catching red-hair diner server models.  We still remember several years ago, they were super sultry.  This year, they went playful, and definitely a new meaning of work hard and play hard!  Great job!

Jeri Lee (above, not the big pacman one), is so photo-active!  Then at the other end, Natalia Marie (below left), Arley Elizabeth, and Mizzie Mie were unscathed by our continuous flash strobing.  We could not break their concentration!  Cool!

The Sony On Line model (above middle) wears a super heavy costume, the whole day, the three days.  Our hats' off to her!!  Now try to imagine the three soldiers at the Planetside booth wearing their full gears... Wow!!

Then we saw cars!!  Both the real Corvette and the Grand Turismo at the Sony PS3 booth space.  There was a long line for the rows and rows fo driving simulation stations... It's quite a sight!

On the other hand, the cute Toyota models gave the Prius a touch of fun, where Prius is actually in the Sims 3 game, thus the connection...   Works for  us!

Then where are games without zombies?  The last two photos did a great job depicting the gruesome scene with real actors acting as zombies and did a really + really good job!!  We give them 5 zombie thumbs up!!

Update: Microsoft's Forza display, looking really futuristically cool!
