Red Umbrella Girls

This is a different take on the "Umbrella Girls" approach. Instead of finding a drift driver, here they just look cute and happy.  Ann is the one in the middle, a bit shy but yet assertive, which are very fine model quality to have... 

[TIP] Take some pictures of the models, and walk away and then come back for a different take on the same model.  You know what you missed and what worked.  Just make sure that you can find them back...

Camay Dee @ Extreme Autofest SD

Camay was looking gorgeously under the tent, in a hot hot day...  The SD gentle breeze gave her a natural fan to make her hair float like in a studio shoot.  Very cool!

Going Green @ Extreme AutoFest SD

The ladies in this booth were very green!  The light green model has that super classical asian beauty!!

Her eyes' smile can draw you in like you are in a beautiful flower garden in Shangrila...  Her oval face frame her flawless features nicely and evenly...

While the other model has that wild energy from the corners of her mouth.  When she was not smiling, the looks in her eyes were just like a tranquil lake that ripples with gentle waves...  What a split moment of peacefulness...

[TIP] When encounter two models, should have photograph them together, and then break them up to photograph each one, if you can, and ask gently...  Most of the time, they look to you for directions...

Mai Tran @ Extreme AutoFest SD

Mai is an incredible model!!  She is beautiful, friendly and dedicated!!  Where ever she stands, there is alwasy an enthused crowd around her and seem to  be not able to leave her...  She was so busy standing there posing under the hot sun, that she later on got a pretty bad burn.



 

[Tip] Guys, next time bring a bottle of "originally sealed" sun tan lotion for distressed models...  They may appreciate your good will gesture...

Extreme AutoFest @ SD

These two dynamic duo have the super powers  that can command attentions from all sides fo the show.  They were just casually standing by a bright yellow car, which made the car even more glittsy...

Even though they did not strike different poses to the camera, as Chinese saying goes, "If the mountain does not come to you, you go to the mountain..."  So I used the human zoom, walking pan, and artificial dolly shot,...  Whatever it takes... 

 





 

[Tip] Usually you are not the only photographer at the scene with the model.  It would be good to catch some candid shots of the interactions between the model and the crowd...
